Key Tasks and Obligations: Field Construction Jobs in the USA
- Handle or facilitate the negotiation process for creating contracts, subcontracts, and orders for procurement.
- Keep up and frequently create reports by using a mix of Project Management Software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Create, refresh, and share the comprehensive project timeline, ensuring its execution is managed effectively.
- Foster RCI’s engagement within the community to establish key partnerships and to welcome the involvement of neighborhood groups.
- Nurture and improve relationships with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversees and coordinates a wide variety of tasks related to the planning, building, and finalizing stages of design and construction projects.
- Oversee financial planning and reports, scrutinize and evaluate reports to guarantee compliance with the project’s budget constraints.
- Administer the program that oversees both Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC).
- Drives the process of identifying and assessing risks and pinpointing scheduling problems, including scrutinizing items or equipment that require a long lead time and may affect the project’s timeline, as well as predicting potential discrepancies.
- Acts as the main point of communication for updates on the project.
- Offer guidance in assessing risks, negotiating contracts, and determining fees and pricing.
- Manage the process of implementing changes by maintaining records, directing original documents to suppliers, acquiring cost information, and creating quotes and proposals.
- Plays a role in the conceptualization and implementation of projects as a member of the Product Development-Private Destinations group.
- Create and maintain a transparent and concise plan for both immediate and future goals, while efficiently overseeing the coordination of intricate schedules and the completion of tasks.
- Collaborates intimately with essential representatives from different sectors throughout the company to comprehend the ways to modify and enhance the approach for providing a perfect product at our exclusive locations.
- Oversee the process of creating new products for Private Destinations worldwide, collaborating intensively with the Project Team on the initial idea, planning, and precise implementation of these ideas, to guarantee that originality and genuineness are fully realized.
- Ensure that the product specifications designed will result in an attractive and feasible product for prospective customers.
- Develop presentations that highlight key progress points in construction to present suggestions to upper-level executives.
- Carries out additional tasks as needed. It should be understood that the tasks listed in this job description do not restrict the range of duties the employee holding this role may be asked to undertake.

Requirements, Expertise, and Abilities: Field Construction Jobs in the USA
- 7-10 years of experience overseeing commercial construction initiatives in the role of a Project Manager.
- Background in working on business-related ventures, encompassing stores, eateries, and the service industry.
- Display a strong level of personal responsibility and uphold a high level of integrity.
- Mentor staff to the same high standards
- A bachelor’s degree is necessary, with a preference for degrees in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related fields.
- Development of Products, Management of Projects, Engineering in Industry, or a comparable discipline.
- PMP Certified
- Marine Experience
- Experience with managing change within an international company.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, as well as project management tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, among other comparable software for managing projects.
- Proficiency in working with business-related developments, including shopping venues, dining establishments, the hotel and leisure industry, maritime-related constructions, and significant infrastructure initiatives.
- At least seven years of work history in roles like Project Engineer, Project Manager, or Construction Manager, or in a role that strongly resembles construction management tasks.
- Background in assessing land value, conducting aerial surveys using drones, mapping property boundaries, carrying out surveys to detail land elevations and features, performing exploration through test pits, undertaking studies of the soil mechanics, navigating the procedures for obtaining environmental permits, and evaluating sites for ecological considerations.
- Showed an understanding of the fundamentals concerning construction supplies, architectural detailing, methods of construction, choosing appropriate building systems, corresponding engineering concepts, eco-friendly approaches, and regulations governing construction.
- Possessing the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organize them according to their importance, and effectively allocate time to each task.
- Possessing the capability to examine and interpret drawings related to structural design, architecture, and civil engineering.
- Outstanding ability to communicate effectively, both in speaking and writing.
- Careful regard for specifics, along with a greatly systematic approach.
- Possessing the capability to examine issues and devise more effective strategies for resolving them.
- A thorough knowledge of the building sector.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Proficient in multiple software applications, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiarity and proficiency with using contemporary software for word processing, creating spreadsheets, managing email, and navigating the Internet.
- Proficiency in utilizing industry techniques and practices for overseeing projects, creating performance indicators, enhancing procedures, and managing organizational change.
