The St Gemma’s Academic Unit of Palliative Care within the Division of Primary Care, Palliative Care, and Public Health is part of a consortium to deliver AI4HOPE (Artificial Intelligence-based Health, Optimism, Purpose, and Endurance in Palliative Care for Dementia) which has been awarded European Commission funding under the Horizon Europe Programme. This four-year study will involve developing and testing artificial intelligence-based digital health interventions for dementia care to support advanced care planning, multisensory-based emotion regulation, and pain management.
You will contribute to all aspects of the project delivery as required. The main roles will include assisting in research activities to inform the development of artificial intelligence-based digital health interventions, planning and delivering pilot studies, and supporting the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data that will include the consenting and assessment of people living with dementia. As you will work closely and interactively within a Europe-wide collaborative project, you will also need excellent communication skills.
