Position Summary: Data Analyst-Asset Management Internship
This is NOT a remote position. The selected candidate will work on-site at the office in Miami, Florida
The Data Analyst for Asset Management is responsible for creating detailed reports that support all Royal Caribbean Group brand vessels in their asset management efforts. They will also contribute to and support the asset management digitalization strategy, and collaborate with various departments within the organization to ensure the success of projects and strive for continuous improvement. The main responsibilities include contributing to and maintaining a data governance strategy that provides reliable data quickly, managing the asset management data platform, and implementing automation and digitization tools for reporting purposes. The position will also track operational metrics, optimize inventory and maintenance processes, and collaborate with vessel operations and stakeholders. Data Analyst-Asset Management Internship
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Analyst-Asset Management Internship
- Participate in and provide support for the enhancement of the Asset Data Platform, AMOS, APIs, Data Governance, Inventory/Maintenance Optimization, AMOS Registrations, and other AM applications.
- Responsible for handling data and fulfilling technical tasks related to projects in the Asset Management department.
- Work towards constantly improving the quality of data and standardization throughout the fleet.
- Ensure compliance with PMO and Global Project Management Standards while supporting Asset Management projects.
- Join and endorse the Asset Management Digitalization Strategy in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) to enhance the Marine Operation’s capacity for business analysis and promote the use of data to make informed decisions.
- Collaborates closely with important individuals within and outside the organization to gain insights on modifying and improving the approach used for executing excellent and prosperous projects.
- Enables effective communication among individuals within the organization as well as those outside of it.
- Ongoing studies are being conducted to enhance the effectiveness of existing products and their features, as well as explore novel advancements.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry, particularly regarding modern management techniques.
- The employee in this position may need to complete additional tasks as needed. This job description does not limit the duties solely to those mentioned. Employees may be assigned other job-related duties by their supervisor or management.
QUALIFICATIONS: Data Analyst-Asset Management Internship
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marine, or a relevant field is preferred.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience working with ERP systems, with a preference for those who have experience with AMOS. However, knowledge of AMOS is not required.
- Experience in creating reports and dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau for a duration of 1 to 2 years.
- Proficient in various aspects of data management, including technical skills, business acumen, effective communication, and digitalization strategies.
- Preferably, possessing professional accreditation, and a comprehensive knowledge of project management processes is desired.
- Proficient understanding of database structure, information, and creation
- Preference will be given to individuals who have prior experience with APIs, Oracle, SQLSVR, Azure, and Python.
- Preference will be given to individuals who possess strong familiarity with Microsoft Products, including Excel, Visio, Word, Azure, Power BI, SharePoint, and Project.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the travel or cruise industry.
- Fluent in English

- Proficiency in implementing robust analytical, financial, conceptual, and strategic reasoning.
- Capable of effectively handling and giving priority to several projects all at once.
- Having prior involvement in overseeing internal and/or cross-functional teams.
- The capacity to bring together, guide, and inspire diverse teams with different areas of expertise to create plans that incorporate the perspectives and support of all individuals involved.
- Demonstrated aptitude for working in collaboration with individuals or groups.
