ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team members may be assigned any combination of the duties listed below:
Guest Room
- Performs comprehensive cleaning tasks in assigned guestrooms, which encompass dusting, using the vacuum cleaner, mopping floors, cleaning various surfaces, and polishing mirrors, windows, and glass doors, ensuring even the tracks are not overlooked.
- Takes away all soiled towels and linens, then makes the beds following the hotel’s established guidelines, replacing the used items with clean ones.
- Sanitizes and purifies restroom areas, encompassing shower stalls, washbasins, commodes, and flooring.
- Removes garbage from waste bins, fridge, microwave, and area for coffee-making, ensuring a deep clean and sanitation.
- Cleans carpets by vacuuming in corridors, entrance areas, and inside elevators.
- Cleans and disinfects telephones, door handles, and switch plates.
- Replenishes all supplies in guest rooms.
- Carries out work assignments provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Addresses and informs the Housekeeping Team Leader of any guest inquiries or complaints.

Laundry
- Removes linens from guest rooms.
- When the soiled linens are collected, they are organized into categories based on their kind, and any spots are given an initial treatment to help remove them.
- Cleans, dries, folds, and puts away bedding and linen following the guidelines set by the department.
General
- Informs the Team Lead about any issues with maintenance and stock shortages in guest rooms, as well as problems with the laundry room machinery.
- Welcomes guests with an enthusiastic and cheerful disposition, delivering top-notch service to guests in line with The Ritz-Carlton Reserve’s dedication to outstanding hospitality.
- Keeps the laundry and housekeeping areas tidy and well-organized.
- Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
During the execution of their responsibilities, team members might encounter passive exposure to tobacco smoke, which is particularly prevalent for those stationed on the casino floor. The ambient noise within the workplace typically remains at a moderate intensity but may spike to loud volumes for brief intervals. Workers are frequently exposed to dust and chemical cleaning vapor while transitioning between areas of varying temperatures. This role has been identified as carrying a risk of potential contact with infectious agents carried in the blood.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight hours.
Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend, and squat frequently.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance as needed.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this role.
- It is essential to collaborate and maintain a constructive mindset while working within a group setting.
- Capability to convey messages with clarity and proficiency in English, whether spoken, written, or through other recognized methods.
- Adhere to mandatory alcohol and drug screenings before employment, as well as unannounced and when there is justifiable cause for suspicion.
- Obtain and keep an active gaming license issued by the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Willingness to be scheduled for any shift, encompassing weekends and holidays, in line with departmental requirements and during significant events hosted by the casino.
