This is a part-time position remotely out of Merritt, BC that will start ASAP.
Wage: $20.52/hr + $0.55/km
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday availability needed.
Hours: 16-24 hours/week

- Maintain the most stringent levels of backroom orderliness, sales floor arrangement, stock replenishment, and adherence to safety procedures, along with proper use of equipment, by the top-tier policies of Coca-Cola Canada Bottling and Store.
- Assume responsibility for managing the stockroom by effectively arranging the inventory, keeping track of and communicating stock quantities, tending to items that have sustained damage, repacking merchandise, and keeping the stockroom tidy with items such as pallets and shelving for products. Ensure all necessary documentation is filled out with great attention to detail.
- Put safety first by keeping your workspace neat, and adhering to the Company’s strict safety and cleanliness standards.
- Nurture constructive and businesslike interactions with co-workers and clients.
- Frequently raise, transport, and place items (that can weigh as much as 50 pounds or approximately 22 kilograms) over the level of your shoulder without assistance.
- Show how adaptable you are by comfortably kneeling down, bending into a squat, and stretching your arms above your head.
- Demonstrate your physical power and endurance by effectively operating equipment, either manual or motorized (such as pallet jacks and dollies), to transport goods over a distance of no less than 100 yards.
- Be ready to remain on your feet and move around for a considerable amount of time.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Candidates with at least one year of work history in the sectors of supermarkets, general retail, storage, or similar industries are strongly favored.
- Having previous experience in handling manuals can be a significant benefit.
- Proven capacity to perform tasks independently with little to no oversight for a minimum period of one year is greatly appreciated.
- Have access to a private vehicle to be utilized during work hours.

- When possible, make use of voice-picking software to compile orders that meet or surpass the company’s criteria for efficiency and precision.
- Tasked with assembling precise and high-quality product orders, and making certain these orders are safely packaged for shipment before being placed in the truck for distribution to the clientele of Coke Canada Bottling.
- Able to handle machinery like pallet jacks and hand trucks used in industrial settings.
- Tasked with fulfilling daily performance targets.
- Transport goods and/or materials by hand as needed.
- Tasked with arranging finished pallets in specified areas for dispatch.
- Regularly engaging in activities that involve bending, kneeling, ascending, and carrying weights of over 50 pounds.
