QUALIFICATIONS: Full-time Personal Support Worker in Ontario

• A preference exists for candidates with a Personal Support Worker certificate, or those currently participating in a recognized PSW or nursing educational course and fulfilling the hands-on training components of that course.
• Experience preferred with working with at-risk individuals in a setting designed for extended care.
• Having training in the Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) is a valuable asset.
• Should have the ability to fulfill the job’s physical requirements and use proper body movement techniques.
• Outstanding ability to interact with others, along with the readiness and capability to contribute as a collaborative and productive member of a group.
• Responsibilities
• Preferably, candidates should have accumulated at least two years of practical experience in a long-term care setting.
