Responsibilities: Air Canada Jobs in Las Vegas

  • Provide customer service/experience
  • Assist travelers with check-in, provide boarding passes, assist with choosing seats, and ensure travel documents meet immigration requirements.
  • Make sure to follow the company’s rules about the size and weight of checked luggage, and collect any additional fees for bags that exceed the limits.
  • Make reservations
  • Inform passengers about important details, such as what is needed for Customs and Immigration processes.
  • Perform Baggage Tracing duties
  • Manage the process of getting passengers onto the plane.
    • Ensure safety procedures are followed
    • Monitor carry-on baggage
    • Assist passengers as required
  • Operate loading bridges
  • Manage interruptions, deal with angry customers or those who can’t be accommodated due to overbooking, and assist passengers impacted by unexpected changes in the schedule.
  • Manage VIPs if relevant, or if there is no Concierge available.
  • Aid passengers with physical disabilities by making sure to comply with all Department of Transportation rules and catering to their various requirements.
  • Manage and keep track of paperwork in line with the guidelines set by the Company.
  • Might need to assist in the First Class Lounge by offering check-in services, providing information, and helping passengers with other needs.
  • Adjust the necessary entries in the Passenger Service System (PSS) to guarantee efficient handling of travelers during their subsequent interaction.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, including those related to the dress code.
  • When neither the Manager nor the Lead Customer Service Agents are present, it is the responsibility of the available personnel to make, implement, and record any essential decisions required to maintain the smooth running of the team and safeguard the interests of the Company.
  • Make sure to have all the required materials and supplies available in adequate amounts.
  • Collect and compile statistical data

Qualifications: Air Canada Jobs in Las Vegas

  • Required to possess the skill to handle matters delicately, make sound decisions, and take independent action when necessary.
  • Should possess the ability to communicate clearly and agreeably.
  • Capacity to perform tasks efficiently while facing stress or pressure, without the need for extensive oversight.
  • Employees are required to be dressed in the stipulated company attire and adhere to the established grooming protocols of the company.
  • Must have the capacity to remain on one’s feet for prolonged durations.
  • Following training, the individual should be capable of skillfully operating the company’s computerized systems for booking, issuing tickets, and tracking luggage.
  • Must have the capacity to independently lift a weight of seventy (70) pounds.
  • It is essential to keep a satisfactory record of attendance.
  • Must have the ability to engage in shift work, which may include atypical shift patterns and additional hours as needed or as instructed.
  • A seal mandated by customs must be obtained and receive authorization from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection or an approved alternative entity.
  • Necessary to obtain security authorization and clearance from the United States Customs and Border Protection.
