The position often necessitates familiarity with, and implementation of, cutting-edge manufacturing strategies (such as continuous flow), alongside proficiency in quality enhancement and ongoing advancement methods, robust analytical and numerical abilities, and outstanding skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and leadership. Furthermore, the Senior Manager is engaged in employee-related issues, which cover labor relations. Additionally, this role includes preparing the individual for potential advancement to Plant Manager positions in the future.

Responsibilities
- Create and implement business strategies over 18 months to meet local goals, which will involve formulating and putting into action a variety of strategies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Inspire, guide, train, and cultivate a varied team of high performers in operations to achieve set targets and build organizational competence.
- Accurately convey the aims and targets of the department to every tier within the organization, making sure that there is a shared understanding of pertinent performance metrics.
- Regularly discuss business outcomes with staff involved in operations to optimize the efficiency of the facility.
- Create an atmosphere that encourages a safety culture in which everyone is actively involved.
- Foster an environment that adopts the principles of peak operational performance, including guiding self-directed maintenance or concentrating on enhancement initiatives.
- Embrace and disseminate top strategies with colleagues throughout the Supply Chain.
- Make certain that the methods used to produce goods adhere to the standards set by the company and fulfill the anticipations of the consumers.
- Ensure the demands and service expectations of both in-house and external clientele are met.
- Make certain that adherence to both the organization’s internal rules and those set by governing bodies is maintained.

Qualification
- National Geo-Mobility
- Possession of an undergraduate degree in engineering, business, or a similar technical discipline, or a mix of educational background and pertinent professional experience.
- A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible positions in managing both staff and procedures, with at least four of those years spent in the food or beverage production industry.
- Familiarity with ISO Standards or other management systems related to Food Safety, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health and Safety.
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) / Lean, Six Sigma
- Mastery of the basic concepts of operational processes, particular abilities within the supply chain management, tactical approaches, and the mutual reliance between various elements within the system.
- Proficiency in essential factors that influence business success is utilized to assess the efficiency and output of an in-house team or an external provider.
- Capability to work cooperatively across different departments and organize activities focused on ongoing enhancement.

Shift/Hours – Monday to Friday 14h00-22h30
About This Opportunity
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the Maintenance department to ensure the efficiency of the highest quality product at the lowest cost while meeting customer demands.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 14h00 to 22h30
Responsibilities
- Make sure that every piece of equipment in the facility is kept in line with the company’s maintenance requirements.
- Make certain that the plant adheres to all relevant national and local laws, as well as adhering to the company’s established policies and procedures.
- Check Quality Improvement (QI) every day and offer suggestions to address issues related to quality.
- Continuously create and assess the budget against the projected forecast, providing monthly reports or more frequently if necessary.
- Hold regular gatherings for department and safety discussions.
- Nurture employee skills by providing oversight, mentorship, and educational opportunities.
- Make sure that everyone in the department clearly understands all the plans and approaches.
- Examine, modify, and give authorization for any matters related to the scheduling within the department.
- Examine and give authorization to the contractors’ documentation.
Qualification
- A requirement of having finished a Bachelor’s degree or having equivalent professional experience is necessary.
- A minimum experience requirement of no less than five years in a unionized maintenance or manufacturing setting where the individual has supervised a team.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, ongoing enhancement processes, and large-scale production environments.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System.
- Preference is given to a Millwright or Electrical qualification.
- Moderate proficiency in utilizing computer systems and database software, including applications like SAP.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems
- Background in food and beverage production is an advantage.
