Your Opportunity: Security Guard Walk-in Interview Dubai

We are seeking to hire a Security Guard who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Camp Baird and the surrounding area. The position will involve two main tasks – guarding entry points and patrolling the premises. Both roles have similar duties and will require rotating shifts. Individuals selected for this job must have at least a baseline AGSVA security clearance.

The perfect candidate would have a strong drive and be adaptable to working in a fast-paced setting, able to promptly and efficiently handle unexpected heavy workloads, events, and emergencies.

Key Accountabilities: Security Guard Walk-in Interview Dubai

  • Keep yourself updated on the current levels of potential threats and always stay alert to report any suspicious activities that you notice.
  • Deliver customer service that is both friendly and helpful, striving to maintain a cooperative working relationship with Defence personnel (including Military and Australian Public Service), as well as other Defence contractors and external agencies such as Local Police.

Duties of the security guard stationed at the entry point

  • This system encompasses visual recognition, validation, and monitoring to ensure that only authorized individuals and vehicles are allowed entry and exit while preventing unauthorized access.
  • Make sure that guests adhere to the necessary steps for site induction.
  • To handle the temporary and visitor passes, they will manage the issuance, reception, and documentation process.
  • Keep an eye on surveillance systems (if accessible and relevant).
  • Serve as a means of discouraging and preventing the unauthorized theft or removal of Defense assets or classified information.

Responsibilities of Security Patrol Guards –

  • Perform regular unarmed patrols of specified locations, checking both the inside and outside of buildings, in order to prevent and identify any signs of unauthorized entry or problems.
  • React or redirect immediately to address any activated alarm on the base.
  • The obligation is to react, address alerts, and inquire into any disruptions occurring at the military facility.
  • By using a vehicle to patrol the internal grounds, one can visually identify individuals and vehicles that have been authorized to be present on the base. This also involves ensuring that there is no unauthorized removal of Defense assets or classified information.
  • Perform inspections of specified locations, including their surroundings and the exteriors of buildings. Notify as necessary if any suspicious behavior or security violations are observed.

Specific Requirements: Security Guard Walk-in Interview Dubai

  • To work as a security guard on this contract, individuals must have a minimum Baseline AGSVA security clearance level, as specified by our client. Only individuals who are Australian citizens are eligible to obtain this security clearance.
  • Proficiency in the English language, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking, along with the capacity to effectively handle numerous responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work setting.
  • The capacity to effectively communicate, interact with the public, address inquiries, and provide information
  • Personnel must possess the necessary qualifications, licenses, and skills to adhere to instructions precisely and make quick decisions in emergency scenarios. This entails obtaining a minimum Certificate II in Security Operations, which should include the completion of seven core units, the electives CPPSEC2007A and CPPSEC2008A, and at least two additional units based on the guard’s responsibilities.
  • CPPSEC2011A Control access to and exit from premises
  • CPPSEC2015A Patrol premises
  • CPPSEC2018A Monitor electronic reporting facility
  • TLI407C Carry out vehicle inspection; and
  • TLIE707B Use Communication Systems.
