Royal Caribbean Cruises offers a 10-week paid summer program that focuses on enhancing skills and fostering innovation. The program expects interns to contribute ideas, collaborate, and complete projects. It is not a typical internship where tasks involve making coffee or organizing paperwork. Instead, interns are encouraged to bring fresh ideas and take ownership of exciting ongoing projects. In addition to the valuable experience, interns also enjoy various perks such as philanthropy days, exclusive events, transportation incentives, and panoramic views of Miami. The internship takes place at the corporate headquarters, allowing interns to be part of a highly skilled global workforce.

Interns in IT can assist the IT department in one of these specific domains:
- The enterprise and shipboard systems of RCG are being developed, supported, and maintained for software purposes.
- Provisioning assistance and upkeep for servers, devices used by end-users, networking systems, and more.
- Project management enables the successful accomplishment of important projects.
- Design and architecture are used to develop solutions for newly emerging technologies.
- CyberSecurity is aimed at evaluating the level of risk and finding ways to reduce the current landscape of threats.
Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks such as coordinating appointments and meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, organizing files and documents, conducting research, and assisting with project management.
Other duties may include answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, maintaining office supplies, and providing support to other team members as needed.
- Assist the IT team in the upkeep of hardware, software, and other systems.
- Help resolve problems and offer technical assistance.
- Organize and maintain IT resources
- Assist in IT areas such as cybersecurity, programming, data analysis, and management of data centers.
- Complete any additional tasks that may be necessary. Employees will be expected to undertake any other job-related responsibilities given to them by their supervisor or management.

- Applicants are required to work full-time at our Miramar offices from June 3rd to August 9th, 2024.
- Seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of Technology.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or possess permanent residency to be considered, as we do not provide sponsorship.
- The role will require 40 hours per week.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- High level of critical thinking
- Demonstrated abilities to lead, whether through school or professional background.
- Being able to think strategically and handle the specifics effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
